Herbal Healing for Horses - Herbal Practicum Program

Giddy up herbalists, come and join me for the Herbal Healing for Horses Practicum Program!

The Herbal Healing for Horses Practicum Program  is an in depth three-month experience (June, July & August) that provides you with a unique opportunity to deepen your skills and increase your confidence in the practical application of using herbs with horses. 

Open to students who have attended my herbal healing for horses classes and to other experienced herbalists looking to deepen their knowledge, this program provides structure for those interested in deepening the craft of using herbs and flower essences with horses. 

The HHFH Practicum Program includes plant identification, medicine making, herbal formulation, equine nutrition, flower essence therapy as well as the creation of holistic health plans to create vibrant well-being in horses. These topics are tailored in response to the experiences, questions and needs of the participants.

The HHFH Practicum provides a space to further explore the skills and tools introduced in the Herbal Healing for Horses series of classes and invites you to learn more by doing! 

The format includes the following components offered during the months of June, July & August, 2021:

Two online meetings per month:

Once monthly herbal practice circles. These two-hour circles will be focused on equine case studies, herbal medicine making, herbal formulation and the development of equine holistic health plans. 

Once monthly guest speaker events. World renowned herbalists and professionals from the equine world will join our group for 2-hour live calls where they will share their wisdom and present on special topics including advances in veterinary medicine, the wise woman tradition of herbal healing, homeopathy for horses and equine nutrition. 

Speakers include: 

Author, world renowned herbalist and wisewoman, Robin Rose Bennett 

Founder and Creator of the company Earthsong Ranch, Jessica Lynn

Equine veterinarian & sports medicine expert, Dr. Jessica Stokes, DVM

In addition, practicum participants will receive a monthly video which will include herbal medicine making techniques specific to horses as well as seasonally based equine health tips.

Participants will also get a monthly guidebook which will provide deeper insights into the topics covered during each month as well as recipes and other practices to deepen your experience with horses and plants.

Also as a special bonus, each participant will receive one 30-minute wellness consultation to use for your own horse(s) with Jordan Stanton. These wellness consults will provide you with an opportunity to discuss challenges going on with your own horse and will deepen your understanding of the practical use of herbs and nutrition in the process. 

Lastly, all meetings will be recorded and you will have evergreen access to the material!

Times for most meetings will be from 5:30-7:30pm PST - however these times may change slightly to accommodate guest speakers in various time zones. You will be notified ahead of time about any changes. 

Investment: 

$375 for the three month program
